FM Logistic has published its results for the fiscal year 2019/20 ended on 31 March 2020. The company will publish its detailed annual report on the 10th of July when it holds its AGM.
In 2018 FM Logistic received a B- from the reporting firm CDP for its environmental policy, well above the sector’s average of D. According to CDP, the B- score means that FM Logistic is “taking coordinated action on climate change issues.”
14 January 2019 - The French logistics and transport services provider FM Logistic has appointed Ronaldo Fernandes da Silva as its new country managing director for Brazil.
With warehouses spread across 14 countries around the world, FM Logistic is a key international logistics player which is continuously improving its processes and costs and is highly focused on minimizing environmental impact. As part of its sustainable development program, the company implements measures to limit the impact of its activities on ecosystem, such as reducing the cost of printing documents.
FM Logistic officially announce the opening of the new distribution centre dedicated to pharmaceutical warehousing in Bucharest area, next to A1 Bucharest - Pitesti highway, in Dragomiresti, Ilfov county. The construction of this platform began in July, 2016 and it welcomed its first pallets in November 2017 on 10,000 m² dedicated dedicated to cosmetics, food products and other FMCG (plus 1,000 m² of mezzanine for co-packing activities) and 10,000 m² licensed for logistics of pharmaceutical goods and 1,150 m² of mezzanine over the front docks for sensitive products.
In 2011, once the inauguration of FM Logistic’s second platform in Romania, in Petresti-Dambovita, so it started the copacking activity which significantly increased in 2013 with start-up of operations performed for Reckitt Benckiser- HPC market leader, and continued to grow as the customer portfolio expanded, currently servicing companies from various industries, internationally recognized, like Jacobs Douwe Egberts - leader of the coffee market in Romania, PepsiCo, A&D Pharma, etc.
True to its "Ambition 2022" strategic plan, FM Logistic confirms its development strategy in Asia’s developing countries by setting up base in Vietnam thereby supporting its historical customer, Auchan Retail. This new set up confirms its established strategy of long-term investment in emerging countries, following China in 2004, in 2013 in Brazil and India in 2016.
