FM Logistic at Google Cloud Next 2026 in Las Vegas

FM Logistic joined Google Cloud Next 2026 to showcase its latest AI-driven innovations in warehouse optimisation.

From April 21 to 24, 2026, FM Logistic took part in Google Cloud Next ’26 in Las Vegas (USA), one of the leading global events dedicated to cloud technologies and artificial intelligence. This year’s edition, centered on the concepts of the “agentic cloud” and the shift toward an “autonomous era,” highlighted how AI is reshaping industries and operational models.

Bringing together a global community of technology leaders and innovators, the event showcased the latest advancements in cloud infrastructure and AI-driven solutions. During the conference, Google executives shared their vision of AI-powered agents transforming business processes and redefining performance standards.

FM Logistic contributed to this dynamic through a dedicated breakout session led by Mateusz Klimowicz, RPA Manager. The session, titled “Tackling the Traveling Salesman Problem in Warehouse Logistics”, presented a concrete use case of algorithmic optimisation applied to e-commerce warehouse operations.

The project focused on optimising mission batching by grouping 16 orders in a way that minimises total travel distance for warehouse operators. This solution was deployed in a highly complex environment, characterised by:

  • A warehouse footprint equivalent to eight football fields
  • More than 17,700 active picking locations
  • Continuous 24/7 operations across three shifts with multiple simultaneous operators

In early 2026, FM Logistic enhanced this approach by integrating the AlphaEvolve solution, combining advanced algorithms with real-time processing capabilities. The result: a 10.4% reduction in picking distance, representing annual savings of over 15,000 kilometres for operators and equipment. These gains translated into increased throughput and reduced lead times, without requiring additional infrastructure investment.

This initiative reflects FM Logistic’s broader ambition to become a recognised leader in sustainable omnichannel supply chains by 2030. Next steps include scaling this optimisation model to other high-volume e-commerce sites and introducing AI-driven slotting strategies to further improve warehouse efficiency.
