There are many synergies to be explored between the activities of Emmaüs Défi, the professions and skills of the teams of FM Logistic group and the mission of FM Foundation. This is how the partnership between Emmaüs Défi and the FM Logistic group was born.
About twenty FM Logistic employees volunteered to get involved in this partnership, were invited to the launch meeting of the sponsorship event held at Emmaus Défi in Paris on Tuesday, January 19.
The core of a lasting partnership is based on collaboration between human resources, as well as the sharing of know-how and know-how.
It is to create these links that Emmaus Défi and FM Foundation organized this meeting. Some of the company’s employees were able to visit the Emmaus Défi site in Paris and talk to the teams of the various programs: the Chantier d’insertion, the Équipage and the Banque Solidaire de l’Equipement. This visit allowed them to better understand their actions and needs.
It was a success, with concrete and operational exchanges, which have already made it possible to advance on beautiful collaborations:
- the establishment of storage and transport sponsorship
- the organisation of skills sponsorships mobilizing the expertise of FM Logistic employees to enable Emmaus Défi to streamline its logistics processes, improve its risk management or optimise its costs
- the planning of visits to FM Logistic sites by Emmaus Défi beneficiaries, which may lead to personalised coaching in a professional setting by company tutors.
The involvement of FM Logistic employees and the enthusiasm of the Emmaus Défi teams promise an effective, impacting and sustainable partnership, The aim of which is to prepare people in situations of exclusion as far as possible for a return to work and a better life.
